A Square rebuild, POS backend and Mailchimp loyalty program for a fast-casual burger spot.

The work

Up & Down Burgers is a fast-casual burger spot, one of the venues in the Mike & Patty’s group.

The website was rebuilt on Square, with the full Square backend set up behind it: the POS, the order-management system, and the automations that keep them in sync.

Alongside the build I ran a Mailchimp loyalty program, discount-code newsletters timed to bring people in on slower days and fill tables outside the rush, plus a custom account system scripted in Python that tracked which code went to which customer and how many times each was redeemed.
