What it is
A sourcing request used to be an email thread. The product link was in one message, the specs in another, the factory replies in a third. Nobody could say where a request stood. I built the Sourcing Desk so every request has one row, one owner and one next step.
A request starts with a product link or a short brief. The engine scrapes the listing, reads the spec tables baked into the gallery images with GPT Vision, and pulls out the specs. It never invents a field. Anything missing is marked to be confirmed and asked in a short questionnaire. It suggests an HTS code with the live duty rate and renders a supplier-ready RFQ as a PDF.
Then it finds factories. A supplier bot searches, reads each factory site and scores it against the requirements for that product, with a quote and a source link behind every verdict. The team approves or rejects each candidate. The outreach queue runs on a 14-day schedule with alerts when a step is late.
The desk itself is one screen. A Today ledger, an inbox with draft approval, and an assistant that answers questions about any request, exports CSVs and builds proposal cards. Website leads sync in every five minutes. Nothing goes to a buyer or a factory without a person approving it.
