Tariff Change Monitor
Reads every tariff notice, keeps the real ones, drafts what to do.
No number leaves without the source document behind it.
What it is
Tariff changes hit our clients directly. The first version read 811 articles, produced zero real events and invented 87 company names. I rebuilt it from scratch with zero dependencies and one rule: nothing goes out with a number the source document does not contain.
The radar reads Federal Register and USTR documents, scores the statute they name and grounds every figure in the text. A validated change then runs through six stages: HTS classification, product impact, strategy, client alerts, prospect outreach and the newsletter. Each stage is re-checked for ungrounded percentages. Approval refuses anything that fails.
A public tracker page is published for each change, 23 so far. A book of clients, products and prospects is editable by CSV paste, so an alert names the products a client actually imports. Everything is draft and approve. There is no send button, by design.
